WebDec 11, 2024 · Posted May 21, 2008. ok, have found a solution to this problem. the sound is only stuffed if you have the GTA IV DVD in the drive when booting up the xbox 360. U'll notice the xbox 360 menu sounds are also too soft if this is the case. Just boot up the 360 without the GTA IV DVD in the drive and then insert the DVD and play. WebGTA V sounds very quiet. I recently got a new laptop (predator helios 300) and once I started up GTA V, the game sounds are really quiet. All other sounds and games work fine (cyberpunk, RDR2, etc, youtube) have proper sounds but only GTA V is REALLY quiet. It's like the volume slider is lowered all the way down, but it's not.
