Since the powerblock puts out 150Watt mono, I am looking for at least that, but something which would be useful if I … WebJan 26, 2024 · I have used this cab with the Marshall Origin 50 head, Peavey Valveking and 5150 (script) heads, Randall RG175 and RG100 heads, a Crate Power Block, a Vox MV-50 (rock), and an Orange Terror Stamp; each of these amps sound terrific through the Origin cab. Can't go wrong for the price. I really enjoy the well rounded sounds it produces.

The amp in the combo sucked, but the cabinet was (is) actually not bad, so I used the Powerblock with that. Not a proper bass amp, but served me well at the time, and the tubey-sounding overdrive is perfect for my Entwistle-itis.
