WebBinaryFormatter is not currently available in .NET Core (but will be in the near future) but since it doesn't work at all currently I want to take the opportunity to find a better solution. Do you know any libraries like BinaryFormatter that you have any experience with? Preferrably one that has a small footprint (a small state is a big advantage).
